It’s About Thriving Not Just Surviving!

WORKSHOPS

  • Women Empowerment

Depression and anxiety in the general population exists, but as women, we face additional challenges that can cause a significant impact on the mental and physical stability of ourselves and our families. As women, we often bear the burden as caretakers for our families and those around us, often neglecting our most precious gift…ourselves. As a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, I bring knowledge, expertise and passion to the programs. The Women’s Empowerment workshops and retreats are designed for women who are, either struggling with where they are in their jobs, their homes, their relationships or even in their own skin. These programs provide unique strategies that will encourage women to relax and unwind and get in touch with their true selves, acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses, and building upon them. With this greater understanding, women will have access to knowledge that can and will enhance their lives at all levels, physically, mentally and spiritually, if they are willing to take on the journey.

  • #TNJS Master Classes

The Thriving Not Just Surviving or #TNJS Master Classes look to understand social issues and challenges that are creating challenges as we try to navigate through this journey called life. Taking time to look at multiple issues and dynamics, these classes provide strategies and structure to help you identify your strengths and weaknesses that influence relationships on different levels. Some of these classes include, Adolescence Thriving Not Just Surviving (spotlighting the issues and challenges facing our youth in our “post pandemic” “semi autocratic” social media “Big Brother” experiement that is causing us all to spiral out of control, Black in America Thriving Not Just Surviving (looking at racial and cultural issues, blind spots and the reality of our biases) and Calculated Chaos Thriving Not Just Surviving (addressing the intentional negativity in our country and the reality of our own biases, silos and echo chambers).
